Why use a tie?

There are so many ways to tie a tie. Behind each knot is a load of history and tradition. When a sales person presents themselves to their prospective and current consumers they represent not only themselves but also everyone associated with the company they work through. So the correct wearing of a tie is enhancing the body language associated with presentation of  'the tie' build on the trust factors within the traditions but worn correctly are a subliminal stimulant towards forms profitable consumer relations.

 Yes, you are using the sublinimal belief of a tie equals a person of worth instilled into many people  through out their early lives

How to steps for 'The Kicks' promotion


  • The help I am offering is more than just me sharing your pictures. What I  do is show people how to put together their 'stuff' while building communities of active and participating followers. In a nut shell... help yourselves while helping other people.
  • There are several social media steps involved. Since you will have control of them [ very important] you need to be behind the building off. Make sense so far?


The basic concept is two fold - have you heard of the push / pull effect? Briefly the p / p effect is where you place everything 'The Kicks' as a group on an area called a 'hub'. No Facebook and other socialized media is not the primary hub type I am talking about. Have you a web page [not a school based one]? Every thing you do goes through this Hub. Google is one that is prevalent through all educational and Governmental spheres through out most of the western world. Costs nothing too. This s the first step. Would you like me to make a Google blog for you. That way you can edit it . Which of course means that 'The Kicks' will need a gmail account.


While you are at it it would be good for each of you to get individual gmail blogs and gmails as well. I will explain in depth later on. Suffice to say you keep you personal stuff on your personal blog and gmail account while you place your 'The Kicks' stuff on the 'The Kicks' professional blog site.


Oh yes if you want me to make the blogs for 'The kicks' and/ or yourselves you will retain all rights to them as well. Now and forever. The only things I will show you how to promote and get promotes will be through 'The Kicks' site. This is important for you to notate [file away] for your future reference. It is also important for both you, 'The Kicks' and what I do this end for you to be disassociated with what should not go on through the net and the networks that you are going to develop. No swearing [ not ever a crass world of finger gesture] no nudity and remember that what goes on the net promoters in your future as well as further education facilities do check for what you have placed through the internet. They will be effectively paying your way through life.... [harp/ harp and harp again] yes you have heard this all before but check out your photo shot! Think about it and take the action you really want too about this. That is what everyone see's.


Let me put it this way. YouTube and SEO ranking measurements. Before you upload anything yourself gain a large following. Your initial first ranking happens when [finally] you upload your first video. I am talking about a very LARGE following ... thousands. SO while you are at school and performing what you do in the 0.03 seconds you have with regard to the initial impact you / your picture makes will help determine your follower ration. Does this make sense? If you already have a measurably large following then promoters will be willing to pay you more per appearance. Ask yourself -Are you doing 'The Kicks' just to 'bum' around or to get going with something that is important to you all? Remember the P /P effect [push / pull] I spoke of before. How you present what you and 'The Kicks' are is part of the push effect. There is a lot to do in order to get the push effect activated and to that end I will show you how - for now. Then once the pull effect comes in to play your promoter will want to take over. Which is why I have said to keep these notes [ hard copy them].

Once you have a basic hub I will then show you how to activate your twitter   /  Facebook page  From here getting these to be interactive with each other is the next step.    I know this all may sound very basic too you.  However people that I deal with  often do not have the basic steps and this alone trips them up later on.  So I make it my business to go one step at a time.

Rescuers complex.

In the beginning the client had a concrete set of images in their mind.  The sales person job is much like a lawyers. The client is like the jury members both waiting and needing to be swayed.

Through the use of  multi-media animation built up from photographs and videos that superimpose a graphic image into the mind of the client the animation gives the client a clear illustration of both the current situation and
  • what may occur without your companies intervention, products or a design change.
  • what might have actually happened. 
Either way the client goes the sales person follows up with a lead that takes the client through the opportunity door.

Just to practice 
  1. Choose a picture from the newspaper. 
  2. Draw a ring around some thing that may not be right, could go wrong or looks better with your product there.
  3. Attach the picture to the reflective glass or an actual mirror surface you are standing in front of. 
  4. Look into your eyes and practice saying out loud 
                               "Of course with these products this has changed, that would have been different, cost
                                factors verses compensation or insurance damages.... "

How would you feel when someone points out little things that leave niggling doubts. Now  that sales person sends you information to help you. Ahh! the rescuers complex in action.  

Close the sale now. Make a follow up date - to be confirmed of course. Move on to the next appointment.

Way to Go Sales Team.

A sales team  is part of the overall business workforce.  Literally any business is in business to show a profit thus keeping the share holders happy, the employees employed, the bills paid and expenses managed. This said the employees take their professional bearings along with their attitudes lead from the businesses management.

A business that supports the environment it is in in a manner which overcomes challenges (both major and minor) will in turn lead the way for their employees and others that it interacts with greater ease,  manages to grow from adversity, then turns potentially negative events into positive ones can harvest that same flow of energy through their structure.  Effectively the benchmarks the company sets are passed on through the staff. Both the staff, other stakeholders and the business becoming more resilient, responding to change pro-actively rather than resisting any change factors.  After all where would you now be should electricity then light bulbs not have been invented?  Way back before then what about the garnishing of fire embers and the shaping of a wheel?

Business and people who develop the right attitude, actually become aware, develop an internal Locus of Control managing to cultivate optimism social support through a sense of humor. Meanwhile as the staff are encouraged to exercise , to explore their spiritual side  they are also prompted not to give up.

Given this positive atmosphere that is moving forward what hope does the sales team have but to emulate it and come up smiling.  Way to Go.

The effect of T.R.U.S.T. being used in the negative is that the actual TRUST you have built up over time and through honest effort simply evaporates.  Gone like a fluff of dust into a vacuum.

Knowing your product

People who lie or those spreading maliciousness gossip will get caught out.  With today's internet is there really anywhere you can hide once your credibility has vanished?

Yes. People will buy from positive and credible  people.  Anything negative will tend to make those you are talking to hurray away in haste.  But once you have lied or gossiped people stay away from you in droves. Think about it : If you have lied about one thing, or gossiped about another person or business what do they think you are going to do about them?  And you really want to sell something to them.  All I can say is keep at it you may be successful.
Here's what you do.

Should you find that there has been a slip up go back and correct it.  Your reputation may suffer for a while but do not do the same things twice.  Hand the sales opportunity over to someone else before you do this again. Your reputation is the only thing that counts when selling. It is your honesty and therefore your reputation that sells to the client.

There will be times that you are asked a question by the client, other times when you think that there is a product or service that may be just what the client needs. The client has outlined what they want, you have spent time listening, you know that time is money... effectively your money.  STOP right here.  Allow the customer to hear you out.  Make a follow up time so that you can find out further information with regard to what the customer wants.  Will it suit their needs expressed as it is , be tailor made for the clients needs? or even not suit at all.  Now YOU get back to the client and let them know.  Even arrange to bring in the expert in that field.

The reason is easy :-  T.R.U.S.T.

There are times when the salesperson becomes aware the client disbelieves that the sales persons product will be of benefit to them or their business.

At this point ask the client to show you why their system is working for them. As an external observer the client may actually begin to trip over their own beliefs. As the client is engaged in showing the sales person the five basic requirements [how, what, who, when and why] something is good for them subliminal messages as to why something did not work, or is troubling a staff member begin to pop up in the conversation. The sales person is utilizing the self-perception theory where the clients triggers either or a sub-subliminal; or sub-conscious memory results in an window need for the sales person to close the sale on..

The clients attitude has begun to change because they

  • are aroused and beginning to feel the discomfort of dissonance.
  • attribute the cause of their discomfort or disbelief to their own behaviours and attitudes.
Open the eyes the clients eyes
 to 'see' associated triggers that
 close the sale for you?
Through the external justification the 'triggers' have the client now beginning to talk themselves into needing what the sales person is selling. Further to this the sales person offers to send a follow up file with additional information.

When the client has a strong view on something the sales person calls the view into doubt by giving discomforting examples. Fast food sales staff are good at this when taking your order. How often have you been asked chips with that?  Yet you know the calories present, even know your glucose level will not be good after it.  But suddenly there they are and there's you eating them too! Or you are asked if you would 'Upsize'.  You pay more for the unwanted economy of a bigger meal that you may have not wanted in the first place. Chips and all. All you really wanted was a hot drink!

From here the sales person leads the client back through the cognitive dissonance sales to the closure or straight into the closure of the sale.






Interacting and communicating with others

Having gained, practised and put into place effective people skills takes time, commitment and effort. Interacting with your business, employment or those who are you target audience challenges and expands these skills still further. Using these skills to communicate with people, while they in turn have a base to form trust from, is a method successful used effective sales people.

To the point - to gain successful sales means that the sales person has to use effective people skills, backed up through supported decision making processes. Backing management allows the new sales person to reach a decision on their own, implement that decision, take responsibility for the outcomes from that decision, move forward having learned from the actions and counter reactions.

 Primarily for the sales person to obtain the help that enables them to further develop confidence, communicate well and establish a rapport with other people, an initial stepping stone should be implemented. This could be as simple as using the introductory and handshake phase to garner the control of the situation. to have this control stabilised and past through to others the whole time you are their selling.

Once the people skills go up, the sales go up. Confidence is given by both parties. People like the way business is handled.  They become relaxed. The people skills go up to a new bench mark level.

Listing the challenges faced.


Needs analysis re a one month project called 'The 2011 Traralgon Show'

 The challenges are laid out as follows
  • time frame differences.
  • transportation means unable to meet timetable.
  • language struggles.
  • forming a work in progress team of basically unknown people.
  • talents and skills of the team are not known to others or maybe the work in progress team members themselves.
  • depth of understanding re where a project fits into the overall scheme of lang term goal.
  • experience / depth of use re using an IT media. 
  • the variety of IT gadgets that can be used to used to participate.
  • using a means of communication that brings all the ideas "to the Table" for further co-development without loosing any that may be used in another activity project.
  • stream lining these ideas into a media [blog] with which many are uncomfortable using.

Karma

A few years ago a young lady had an opportunity to gain experience as a secretary with some receptionist options.  The employment was with a firm that changed the rules as the boss desired.

During the actual time away from the home base the workers stuck together.  They did not like the fact that the employer had booked two rooms for 6 people.  The employers idea was to stick the young lady in with the seasoned men's sleeping dorm while he slept next door.  Luckily for the young lady one of the workers realised that he had worked with her father a few years earlier.   The young lady ended up next door so that she could do the typing required and not 'drive the men crazy with key board tapping' as she worked.

Things went from 'bad to worse' work wise.  The employer did not meet her wages, used her phone bill into the thousands, took her expensive reading glasses, only brought beer instead of coffee or tea. The workers tried to protect the young lady in her naivety. Eventually I was called onto the scene.

I had later talked to all the employees and found that they knew that after a hard 12 hour day -cutting logs up- they could come back to a substantial  home cooked meal, clean bedding and room.  All they had to do was put money in the food kitty and have a shower before they came to the table!

After two and a half months the young lady went home.  A ride to a highway was organised for her via the local off duty police man. A truck driver known to be a relative of the police man just happened to be passing and 'stopped' for a chat.  Strange as it may seem that truck just happened to be going past the young ladies door!.... about eleven hours travelling time away.

To this day nine years later I often wonder what happened to those men when the boss found out that the young lady had gone.  I had heard that the tuck had got impounded through men wanting what was their friends wages and expenses. that the employers wife had a holiday she had always wanted [care of the justice system] and that the employers business had ceased to exist and he was unemployable... or soon became unemployed.

Ho hum.

Made a mistake have you?

A critical review is not earning a grade but doing looking backwards in order to do something better next time. Often a critical review is mistaken for when one person is critical of what people did or did not do or when a person has done something wrong.

The critical review is the act or instance of evaluation or appraising the gathering of feedback is used to make the next situation run more smoothly.  All the stake holders go over the information gathered re the event, brake the event into segments. Each segment has an action.  The actions are reviewed. Each action has an outcome - these too have a review. Actions or non-actions are taken into consideration.

The beauty of recording events at the time they occur is that everyone [all stakeholders] can make adjustments for future guide lines with regard to possible scenarios. Things that are recorded tend to be remembered as fresh incidents during the information gathering process.

What a difference a day makes.

Confidentiality equals trust. When trust is gone because of confidentiality leaks what do people expect to happen?

Today was a good example.

The new Sales Person arrived. The owner of the company I am with explained about confidentiality. What was expected, the boarders and boundaries. No issue there. A confidentiality agreement was given out for the Sales person to read. When he felt confident and at ease with it he could sign or leave.

Mean while the owner looked for drawing pins could not find them in the neat tidy and packed stationary cupboard, so requested they be found.  Took 1 second to walk there, 0.1 second to reach in and get them and 2 seconds to get them back to where the owners was showing those in the office the map if the state. A very brief overview was given. Some questions asked - others not. The map is now pined up where we all can see this out lined section.

While reading the new salesman got back to reading the confidentially agreement an old sales person turned up. The owner of the company hit the roof at every one. drumming into everyone's head confidentiality, demanding answers to questions only one person had obtained to information.

Finally that person had to leave as they had an appointment.

The new sales man asked other questions. Once again was told

  • how he and the developing sales team fitted into the company.
  • how the sales team levels re commissions was to work.
  • who to give the paper work too the next morning so that back up support was able to be organised, given and sent through. 
  • what the owners expectations are. 
  • what four questions to ask prospective consumers. 
  • who not to seek out to ask re becoming a consumer of the companies goods [ primarily as these consumers already were the companies consumers]
  • that the company would expect to see him again at 0900hrs the following day.
Now we are all holding our breath waiting for tomorrow.  What a difference a day makes!

Mission

Find, develop, redevelop and expand growth of company direction. 

WOW I have goals


  • have brought into one line two operational distributors by 0000hrs 25th December 2011.
  •  through my 1375 account to have $2500 being utilized to grow this business by 31st December 2011 at 2359 hrs.
  • put into action the four training sessions I will have attended by December 25th 2011.
  • attend the both the Sydney convention and the Melbourne Leadership weekends in March 2012 with two distributors.

W.o.w.

Actually this weekend is more than just W.o.w.

I went to a business meeting in Melbourne.  Does not sound hard.  Melbourne is just two [2] hours away from here.  Yes there were hurdles to get over but I got there had a great weekend and arrived back.

When I woke up this morning I expected to feel buyers remorse.  Not at all.  I woke with determination.  There are things to do by tomorrow at 1000hrs.  Once I have done these things I will let you know.

I knew the plan.  I had altered another similar one to tentatively work like this one.  TWENTY FIVE years ago. I made it work then and run into difficulties that then I could not get over the top of.   BUT I had seen my very basic plan work.  Yes, I say very basic as when I saw this plan six [6] weeks ago I told the guy how things worked then.  Now there is twenty five years to catch up on. I feel like a prem. baby in that once again I had been too early on things.  The world was not ready and I had not the resources.

Hay this base international company has been going for roughly fifteen years.  Over this time I have had reinforced that there is no safety net [but the one between Jesus Christ and myself] and for this opportunity I thank him.

There are resources that I have and do not have. Things I had and no longer had.  [like the 25 years]  The saying get over it  has been added too.  It is get over it, around it and through it.  Now where am I going to be with my goals.  Why am I sitting here sharing this with you?

Although I dislike using an acronym I have realised that "I am a Woman Of Worth"!.

Triggering subliminal memories.

Near 6 hours after first sitting down to this computer what have I done.


  • Missed a personal appointment ...yes.
  • Listened to the rain begin to pour down and considered not mowing the jungle out the back [again].
  • I have finally worked out how to get into my Google Site list.
    • Through this the blogger sites and other things I thought I had lost access too.
Google search was wonderful. The link that was provided on You Tube helped me out. This link was "All about how to create a simple web page" but it triggered a subliminal memory that released a memory.  That is the "Penny" dropped.



Challenged change


Some time ago I exported off a site I had. The imported this information onto a new site where I spent time combing several sites of information into one.  No i did not choose to loose  [delete]  the old information.

For the last couple of days I have been toying with doing this again.

Some of the the things that halted this action have been

  • the fear of loosing working back links.
  • space usage for the application
  • time factor spent in removing the doubles of things.
    • this included the back links too.
Positives in this action would be:
  • Hits to 1 blog site rising the level of visitors to that site will raise the power of 1 address / name being seen all through the search engines.
  • The presentations of the new look for Google applications?
I truly would like to do this as an on-line magazine has its format.  Which is why I wanted to have pages with lead in posts and indexes via each page.  However so far this has not been possible.  My time management status is low.  For now I rely on the maxim of 'One day'.

Get a move on

While opening up with cve4me I saw that the seach page has some other thing that will topple my no one place as no 1 on the page.  cv4me is a New Zealand job opportunity company with a name very similar to cve4me.

    • social network under cve4me
    • social media to get going under cve4me
  • The crux of the matter revolves around these hits on the cve4mesite. Primarily three things need to happen.
    • Time to do the social media and networking
      • Either of these will stimulate hits needed to occur on the sites under cve4me.
    • Money to keep up the time.
      • Running out.
  • Next weekend is the shop on line for me.
    • The cve4me shop on line will bring in the hits on the site.
